The thing about the "heaters" and AC is (speaking from a scandinavian perspective) the reason to not have AC is probs cuz we have way more winter and cold weather than we have hot weather. So there is not really a good reason to have AC. And also for the car, when we do have summer it will get really hot in the car. (This not something i have facts on its just my perspective

Yeah the flag thing is actually not true: it's Ivory Coast and Ireland, not Italy! The Italian flag is Red-white-green, when the other two are Green-white-orange (Ireland) and orange-white-green (Ivory Coast)

* Basically every room in each house or flat/apartment has A/C here in Bulgaria for use in the summer and winter... I think this this is the case for every country bellow this potato/tomato line. In the last 15-20 years everyone here, no matter poor, middle or rich class, has A/C everywhere. A/C heating or cooling is the most effective way economically. Better than using heater. Wood is forbidden in the big cities, they have central heating there which is probably OK economically. But in smaller towns and villages where wood is not forbidden, A/C is cheaper to use. It's also a more clean way, just hit the button. Only some older people prefer the older and harder way to prepare woods and clean the old heaters.

I’m married to a French man and living in France 2 yrs now. When I first started out my French was pretty bad but a simple bonjour and an effort to use the language and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The French are only rude if you start out like that! Say bonjour and be polite and everything is so much easier

So about AC: in malls and public buildings you have AC. I live in Bulgaria and in the summer it's really hot for several months, so of course every house has an AC and also the metro, bus and every other building. But in Germany (where I am from) you don't use AC in the house because it's not that hot, houses are made out of stone and good isolated, so you sweat these two weeks out and don't need to pay this huge bill and it's better for the environment. And honestly this AC which is so cold that you basically freeze is pretty useless to me, because why do I need to bring a jacket for inside when it is 40° Celsius outside. That just doesn't make sense to me

Sweden is largely misrepresented in the world by alot of right wingers, as having alot of crime. This due to trying to recruit members to their right wing agenda through social media. Their trolls have just been exposed by journalists going undercover. Yes, there is crime, but it's mostly in the larger cities, and the further you go towards the more southern parts, the more crime. Where there is more influx of drugs and weapons, the more crime we see. For example, people in Malmö experience much more drug related crime, than in northern Sweden. How is it in Norway and Finland, guys?

In austria, you can get beef tatar in restorants and in germany, you can buy raw minced meat at stores, its called "mett" and its often eaten on bread with onions.

We do have and use ACs, they are just individual units. The thing is buildings are old and tearing them down to build new one just so it has central AC is impractical. Its slowly happening but because the building is in a new plot of land or the old building got demolished for other reasons. Oh and electricity is expensive af soo we prefer to suffer a bit with open windows in the summer and use the central hot water we already have in winters. 😅

Russians were the only slavic nation that cultivated this cult of ruling with an iron fist. Later the term "Eastern Europe" was adopted by CCCP aka Russia to justify their conquest of this region of Europe and this is why most baltic, balkan and central european countries hate to be called eastern cause it basically sums us up with nations like Russia who are culturally more into asian totalitarism then into a democracy. Belarusians also hate this term since on average 1 out 10 of them has polish heritage. Ukrainians are now fighting for their right to define themselves and their future.
